These women..
A couple of weeks ago I returned from my annual girls trip. I consider myself extremely blessed to have kept the same friends since middle school. We all have different stories and completely different paths since then. But have managed to remain close. All of these women are beautiful, they're all strong, and I love them dearly. Every year (except last year too many newborns) we manage to set aside a weekend together amidst our crazy schedules. We go to a different location every year and it seems that someone if not half of us are pregnant. This year we were in a quaint cabin in Blue Ridge Ga., half of us were pregnant and as usual we stayed up late being silly girls. We were not moms, not wives, not maids or cooks. We made big messes and didn't clean up till we left. We stayed in, planned nothing, and only ventured out once to the Ga Apple Festival. Every year I look forward to seeing them yet it never seems like a long enough time for us to catch up. But I'm grateful for what we can fit in. I always leave refreshed and inspired by them.

Harper thinks she's a big girl
Harper and Dad now have an almost nightly ritual of sitting in bed with popcorn and watching a movie. I cannot believe she sits still for it. But she loves major motion pictures.
