Fort Desoto and Busch Gardens

Well we have had a busy couple of weeks. Eric heard of a great beach called Fort Desoto. So we have been spending the last few weekends there. It is about a 45minute drive but well worth it. It is a beautiful nature preserve in St Pete Beach right by Tiera Verde. No alcoholic beverages so no riffraff. Tons on vegetation and creatures. Harper saw her first coral, live starfish, and yukky giant snail. The beach is made up of tiny shells and very coarse sand. So not white but much nicer than the pics look.
This past weekend we did not go because big bro and sis were here. Busch Gardens has the new Sesame Street section so off we went. We were a crazy busy, keeping up with little ones, bunch so not many pics with them. They all had a wonderful time and we were sad to see them leave. Especially Harper she cried!

Harper was not in this water by herself, dad was right next to her. This is just before I saw a shell that I thought was a hermit crab but after moving it around a giant snail popped out. I squealed like a silly girl and it totally freaked her out. She was so upset that I made such a noise and cried hard to get to me and see if I was okay.

Harper says "shwimmin"

She wanted to be buried in the sand
