The weekend before Eric returned home we went to Fort Desoto after church. We actually had not been there all summer. Truthfully, I suppose after a person grows up in an area with the most beautiful beaches it's hard to get pumped up to go somewhere else. Well yet again Harper always enjoys any outdoor activity. She really got into the sand this time instead of the water. If you look closely at this first pic you can see her mouth wide open. That is her weird excited face. She threw sand everywhere which made for a nice cold outdoor shower for us. It was so cute when she was in the shower though... I stripped her down naked to get all the sand off and she was kicking the water under her feet and waving her arms in the short shower head. Then she stopped and a stream of peepee appeared we all giggled but the cutest was when she was done. She looked up to everyone and said "sorry". So funny! I really do not think she knew why she was saying it, it just came out.

Daddy's Home!
Well we finally picked up Dad. Harper was very excited on our way she was telling her Barbie which she named "mermaid Susan" about dad hug. When we got there she immediately started getting fussy when she saw him at the plane. They couldn't get off right away so she had to whine it out. But when he came to her all was right with the world and she reached out for him and would not let go for days. Harper also decided that it would be cool to tell him that she loved him with no hesitation (punk). A few days after Eric got home we (first full night without Harper) took a mini vacation at a small bungalow on the bay. These are the pictures of us. Again same usual pose since we're the photographers.
